Video: Reno Omokri, Other Nigerians In UK Storm Abuja House In London
Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan in a video was seen with other Nigerians in the United Kingdom protesting in front of Abuja House in London where President Muhammadu Buhari is staying.
Reno in the video he posted on his Twitter account on Friday while addressing the protesters said he flew in from the United States of America to join them in the protest.
They are demanding that the president return to the country for his medical treatment.
Although, he said he will be going back but urged the protesters on ground to remain and ensure that they remain peaceful.
He said, “I have promised the police I am going to be living, we have the right to peaceful protest, I myself personally I am going to be living, I told the police. You guys remain here but be peaceful, no violence.
“Now we are insisting that Buhari must go back to Nigeria, I flew in here at great expense, I have not eaten at all, I came straight from the airport here because is important to me.
“I am proud of Nigeria but I am not proud of Nigerian leaders.”
He also tweeted, “The Police Came But The #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon Went On. A Frightened @MBuhari Refused To Come Out,”
The President left the country on Tuesday to the UK where he will spend two weeks for a medical checkup.
